Diet for obesity

Obesity is one of the most common issues faced by many people. Dieting if done correctly can be a healthy option to loose weight. Indian diet is a balanced diet including grains, legumes, fruit, vegetables, milk, dairy products that means it has all the nutrients required by our body  but fat content is really very high.So  if fat is reduced it is a balanced diet.


Some points should be kept in mind if you want to loose your weight.
1.Eat fruits when ever feel hungry.
2 . Don't ever skip the breakfast.
3.Healthy snacks like sprouts, yoghurt, whole grain cereals and rice cakes should be taken.
4 .Drink plenty of water  at least 7 to 8 glasses.
5.Fried food, pastries, sweets  should be avoided.
6. Take your dinner at least 2 hours before  going to bed.
7. Don't take bed tea.
8.Use skimmed  milk
9.If you are going to eat rice take out the starch.
10.Add  wheat bran into your flour in the ratio of 1:10
11.Take flaxseed 1 or 2 tea spoon daily.
Here I am going to give you a sample menu which you can follow.
EARLY MORNING
     1 glass  lukewarm water with lemon juice.
BREAKFAST
      Steamed idlis (2 or 3) with samber or dokhla .                 
      Or
       2 eggs with1 slice of toast (multigrain) with cheese (low fat)
      Tea or coffee
MID MORNING
       1 cup yoghurt    along with a fruit.        A handful of almonds  and walnut.
LUNCH
      2 or 3 chapattis with out ghee
     1/2 bowl of any vegetable
      1/2 bowl of dal
      1/2 bowl of curd
      1 bowl of salad
EVENING
1/2 bowl sprout or any fruit or curd
DINNER
       Same  as lunch
BEDTIME
      1 glass of milk  with fruit

If you are non vegetarian you can replace dal with chicken .
End your day with a cup of green tea.
